Willys Flatfender: I bet this old school has some great war stories, possibly the owner perched up top might too.

4Wheel to Heal Tank: This veteran organization brought out a war machine to KOH. Can’t get any more all-terrain than a tank.

Stewart & Stevenson M1079 Van: If you though the tank was impressive, this vintage military van just towers over everything.

If you've ever been to a car show, then you know to expect some of the cleanest cars, in the most pristine condition. Throw all of that out the window along with your California Duster, King of the Hammers is a completely different experience. Here, the more dust and body damage your vehicle has, the more respect you earn.

While everyone was focused on the race, we (a couple of import guys) decided to go on an adventure. Check out the gallery above to see what vehicles caught our eyes during KOH week.
