Vision X ULTRA4 vs SRRS Shootout [Gallery]
The past two years the "Shootout," held Monday night of King of The Hammers week, took place at Back Door - one of Johnson Valley's infamous trails including a waterfall rock face. Crowds go wild for the action of Ultra4 cars and rock bouncers making their way up the canyon for the fastest timed run. This year the powers that be swapped the Shootout over to a different trail, Chocolate Thunder, also difficult but lacking the huge waterfall rock face of Back Door. Regardless, the crowds still enjoyed the 2016 Vision X Ulra4 vs. SRRS Shootout! This year's winner was Scott GoForth from SRRS with a time of 38.343, almost two seconds faster than his closest competitor. Jason Bartram was the top Ultra4 competitor, finishing in 3rd place with a time of 40.237.
