Worth 1000 Words: Forever Young

This year I got to photograph some cool events - Speedweek, Formula Drift, Woodward Dream Cruise, and Rally America's Sno*Drift among them - so choosing a favorite picture was a difficult task. An abundance of great experiences, cars, and photos, but this one tops my list. woodward-dream-cruise-forever-young-favorite-picture-2013 I always smile when I think about the many adventures I’ve had in my own 1955 Studebaker Champion, but the smile appeal in the above snapshot is universal. The joy in this woman’s face and the absurdity of her outfit, all packaged in a pink-and-white Chevy BelAir is so fitting. It encompasses many things I love about classic cars – the way they stand out in a crowd, bring life’s simple pleasures to the forefront, and put a smile on people’s faces. If I could choose one thing I want more of in 2014… it’s all captured right here.
