Back Door Shootout Pits Ultra4 Against Rock Bouncers [GALLERY]

The 2014 Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire held it's first ever SRRS ULTRA4 King Shocks East vs. West Showdown at Back Door tonight. Pitting Ultra4 vehicles against Rock Bouncers, it was a little bit of East meets West to see whose vehicle would climb the infamous Back Door waterfall trail the fastest. Spectators covered either side of the Back Door canyon, just outside Hammertown. What ensued was one part carnage, one part whoop ass, and a whole lot of awesome! The shootout's starting line-up was chosen at random, and within a few vehicles the first flip over made the crowd go wild. In the end, I'm not sure if it was the East or West who proved themselves - but reigning 2013 King of The Hammers Randy Slawson took home the prize with just over 30 seconds on the clock. Amazing!
