USCA Circuit of the Americas: Austin Drivers Go Big [Gallery]

After an exciting weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Ultimate Street Car Association (USCA) moved west to give Texan drivers a go at Austin's Circuit of the Americas (COTA). If you didn't already know, USCA provides regular car-lovers with the opportunity to exercise their need for speed.

Each of the four competing classes is judged on five elements: road rally, design & engineering, autocross, speed stop and hot laps. Below are the four winners from each class.

GTV | Vintage Class – 1989 and older, 3200 lb. minimum:

Mike Maier in his 1966 Mustang at USCA

Mike Maier and his 1966 Ford Mustang with a score of 469/500 points.

GTS | Sports Car Class – 1990 and newer, 3200 lb. minimum, factory two-seater and AWD:

Curt Trawick in his 2016 Porsche GT3 at USCA

Curt Trawick in his 2016 Porsche GT3 RS with 465/500 points.

GTL | All vehicles under 3200 lbs:

Danny Popp in his 2003 Chevrolet Corvette at USCA

Danny Popp in his 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with 481/500 points.

GT | 1990 and newer, 3200 lb. minimum:

Aaron Sockwell in his 2015 Mustang at USCA

Aaron Sockwell in his 2015 Ford Mustang with 426/500 points.
