Is The New Batmobile A Jeep?
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na Jeep Man! Wait, that’s not right. Has the Caped Crusader officially sold out? And, to all companies, Jeep? The latest Jeep Renegade commercial may lead you to believe so.
The special edition Dawn of Justice Renegade is themed on the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. It’s based on the 2016 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4x4 and comes standard with a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine, nine-speed automatic transmission, Jeep Active Drive 4x4, and Selec-Terrain with four drive modes. Yes. You read that correctly, the Bat is driving a cat-fished named four-cylinder. We’re not even sure if that’s suitable for Robin.
In the new commercial for the Dawn of Justice Renegade, you can see a plain-closed Batman (played by Ben Affleck) speeding through the streets of Gotham. We’re not sure how Affleck kept a straight face while driving the oversized clown car with a yellow strobe light on top, but I guess that’s why he gets the big bucks. If all of this sounds too strange to be true, just take a look at the commercial yourself.
