Jeep has managed to build a brand that is as much about a lifestyle as it is a mode of transportation. Sure, you might not always need something as capable as a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to travel the roads less traveled near you. However, the fact is that the Wrangler opens you up to places and sights that most standard SUVs and cars simply can’t go. We’ve spent the past six months putting our 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon through its paces. Documenting our travels along the way, we’ve put together our real-world review that you can watch above.
With nothing more than a set of OE-replacement Nitto Ridge Grapplers (read more about those here) and a set of drop-in floor liners from Rugged Ridge, we’ve been able to find out just where the new JL four-door excels and where it falls a little short. Now that we have our baseline, we can start the exciting build journey that we have in store.
